Toshimaen!

Taking a look at the Japanese cosplay scene again! Doing make(up) at Toshimaen event, a theme park. Yep, we're all crowded in park benches around the giant empty pool. In Japan changing and makeup is strictly confined to the areas they've set up. This is why a mirror is essential (the more the better..)! It's pretty scary that Japanese can still do their makeup well in such awful lighting conditions.

Being a GIRL is hard work

I love spring! I love feathers *A* Also I can't remember if those flowers were poisonous or not hahaha.
Lately been interested looking at the differences between girl/guy makeup. Eye shape, eyebrow shape, lips, nose, cheeks, etc.... And then the posing..!

Working hard on SMASH artwork! Nana redesigned from last year. Too many inaccurate bits and generic poses...need to find my small scissors.

one, two, three, four, five, six, nine and ten

Decorations from my FMA military jacket, taken off so I can wash the rain, sand and sweat out of the uniform (haha). When making this outfit I was mildly panicking that I didn't have that moment when you see the character coming out of the mess of fabric and pins (and tape and blood). Luckily it pinged when I took up the jacket hem by 2 inches! Unfortunately I don't have a pic of the finished product, but you can oogle the gorgeous braid that Straw did for me on the way to the shoot ;)

Start to Finish!

I love wafuku TAT;; First time using a COSmode pattern. Added 2 inches to everything, but it's still too short! I wish COSmode had a size guide like Layers.. Ah well, took time to study the pattern to try and waste less fabric.
